We, at the Woman's Clinic, constantly are warmed by the trust and confidence of our patients. This confidence places an awesome responsibility on us as medical practitioners. Accordingly, we recognize it as our duty to maintain the highest standards of obstetric and gynecologic practices coupled with empathy, compassion and interest for the human spirit of our individual patients.
Devoted to Primary Medical Care For Women
 Although obstetrics and gynecology is known as a specialty, physicians with this training are recognized as primary care providers. This means that many women and their insurance companies consider the obstetrician/gynecologist as the female patient's main doctor. As such, if problems do occur that require other medical specialists, we actively pursue and follow-up with necessary referrals, consultations and procedures and tests. As primary health providers to women, we place a particular emphasis on preventive medicine and help you learn better ways to care for yourself.
Our concern is your good health, which is a product of the interaction among all the systems of your body, not just the reproductive organs. This is why your first visit includes a complete medical history and physical exam. It not only serves to detect associated or unsuspected illnesses but serves as a baseline for future examinations.

The Medical Partnership
When you choose to be a Woman's Clinic patient, you also choose a personal physician for your on-going primary medical needs as well as your obstetric/gynecologic care and treatment. In case of an emergency, or during the night, weekend, or other times when your personal Woman's Clinic physician is not available, one of the other six partners will meet your needs. There is always a Woman's Clinic physician available to care for your special medical needs.
Each Woman's Clinic physician has completed residency training (at least 4 years) specifically in obstetrics and gynecology. Each physician also participates in continuing medical education courses that provide the latest advances in the fields. We are proud that all of our doctors are Fellows of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
The Woman's Clinic believes that it is to our patients' benefit to have a doctor who is mentally and physically alert. For this reason, the Woman's Clinic encourages its doctors to take time off for adequate rest and study. This is another way in which we strive to assure you that your treatment is of the highest quality.
Because we are a multi-physician practice, we can assure you that all of your care will be provided by Woman's Clinic medical staff. The high standards set and specialized training required of physicians joining the Woman's Clinic gives you the confidence that you are receiving quality care whenever or by whomever you are seen at the Woman's Clinic.

Medical Records
The Woman's Clinic respects your right to privacy. Therefore, all of your medical records are strictly confidential. To maintain confidentiality, your medical records will be released only with your written permission.
As a courtesy, we will make every attempt to have the request for your records filled within 48 hours. Ultrasound tapes will be provided to other health care facilities within the guidelines for these types of records.
