Infertility
Infertility is the inability to conceive within the first year of having unprotected intercourse.
Generally, any couple unsuccessfully attempting to conceive for one year is a candidate for infertility studies. Several factors, involving both the male and/or female, may be the source of the infertility; therefore, we consider the couple as a single unit.
Among the evaluations offered at the Woman's Clinic are:
-
Complete female and/or male infertility evaluations as necessary.
-
Ovulation induction, such as the use of Metrodin, Pergonal, Lupron or other infertility drug therapy.
-
Intrauterine insemination with a donor's or partner's sperm.
-
Infertility laparoscopic, microscopic, or laser surgery as necessary.
After a course of action is identified, you will have the opportunity to discuss with our financial counselor the approximate costs associated with the treatment plan. The financial counselor will work with you and your insurance company to establish what benefits, if any, are available for the treatment of the infertility and establish alternative methods of payment.
