THE WOMAN’S CLINIC HAS MOVED!

The physicians began seeing patients at their new location on Monday March 1, 2010.

At the new state-of-the-art facility, the Woman’s Clinic offers on-site laboratory services, obstetric ultrasounds including the 3D/4D images and nuchal translucencies, gynecological ultrasounds, and some minor surgical procedures.

SURGICAL UPDATE: DAVINCI ROBOTIC ARM IS HERE!
The DaVinci robotic arm system provides a minimally invasive alternative for patients, which means a shorter stay in the hospital and a faster recovery period. NovaSure and Hydro-ThermAlbator (HTA)
Two new, minimally invasive choices are available for the treatment of excessive menstrual bleeding; the NovaSure endometrial ablation or Hydro ThermAlbator (HTA) have the potential to offer:

• An alternative to hysterectomy or other major surgical procedures
• An office procedure
• Decreased recovery period and less need for general anesthesia
• Fewer significant harmful side effects.

Laparoscopic Procedures

The laparoscopic hysterectomy is an alternative to the traditional abdominal hysterectomy surgery. The surgery is done through a small incision rather than the traditional surgical incision, which means less scarring for our patients. In addition to a smaller incision, the laparoscopic procedure means a shorter hospital stay and faster recovery.
